Hello...Thought I would tell about the book I just finished...Brian Selznick's The Invention of Hugo Cabret: a novel in words and pictures. It is the winner of the Caldecott Award. Your Home Library in Johnson City owned it and I took it off the shelf to put a Caldecott label on it. I started to read it and could not put it down. The characters are excellent and the addition of all the charcoal drawings telling the story was fabulous. Can see why it won the award. An orphan, a train station and a mystery to solve. Great setting for a Juvenile chapter book. Highly recommend it.
